Cameron & Stevenson Scotland staff over twenty five years experience in the utilities servicing industry, and specialist drilling services. The utility services market in the UK is estimated at over £1bn p.a., with the major customers being water, power, gas, sewerage and telephone utility companies. We established a new business, Amberdeep Ltd, to deliver services to utility companies through the utilisation of existing technology and the introduction of new technology.

There are many issues connected with utility pipeline service operations, including renewal, replacement, repair, and where required the associated civil engineering works. Where such works are on or close by communication routes (road/rail/water) there are issues regarding physical disruption, safety, noise, waste materials, and general environmental aspects. Amberdeep will operate on the basis of well-qualified personnel, working to schedule, to ensure that contracts are completed with the minimum level of disruption. We have had extensive experience in the UK, Isle of Man, and Saudi Arabia.

Mr Stevenson has established a new company - Amberdeep Ltd. to develop a market opportunity in the rehabilitation (rehab) of pipelines. Amberdeep will have two subsidiary companies, Cameron & Stevenson Scotland Ltd., and Cameron & Stevenson Scotland Pipelines. Cameron & Stevenson Scotland will provided traditional specialised directional drilling (HDD) services. Cameron & Stevenson Scotland Pipelines has purchased one of two Scottish licences from a US company, for a new pipe-lining product -Termopipe - Now that Thermopipe has been approved and Amberdeep has secured pre qualifying from most major companies and suppliers. The advantages of Thermopipe over the alternative methods available will establish a demand level that will increase over the next five years.
